Malcolms Dining Room at The Birches at Ben Eoin Country Inn is available to both guests and the general public who wish to enjoy elegant dining in an intimate and unhurried environment. The menu offers a wide variety of selections in all three categories – appetizers, entrees and desserts. Our guests are encouraged to relax and take their time while they experience fine food prepared when ordered and presented uniquely.
Our dining room, named after the innkeeper and his grandfather, is fully licensed. Tea and coffee, as well as a sorbet course, are included with your meal which will be served on our pottery dishes made by a Cape Breton artisan.
In consultation with the chef, the innkeepers have had personal input regarding many of the dishes featured on the menu. Whenever possible, local ingredients – purchased daily – are used to insure quality and freshness. With prior notice, we are prepared to address the needs of those who have special dietary requirements.
Advance reservations are required for evening dining by 5pm each evening.
Reservation times are 5pm - 8pm (Tuesday through Sunday)
